This is the How I Met My K-Drama podcast. I'm Sarah Rosette and this is the intro to season two. This is a super short intro just to let you know a couple of things that are going on. First, I'm really happy to be back with another season. I've enjoyed talking to you and hearing your recommendations, your origin stories, the things that you've enjoyed about K-dramas. One thing that's been really interesting to me is that no matter who I talk to, each person has such a unique take. Basically, you're getting each person's flavor of K-dramas that they enjoy. And it's not like each person has the same top five or favorite rewatchable K-dramas. You're getting each person's unique blend. And I think that's just a lot of fun to see how things mix and match because everybody is so individualistic and there's so many K-dramas to choose from. I think it makes it a really fun experience for me to hear what you choose and uh the kind of angle that each person takes that are their favorites. So I'm really enjoying that and I want to keep doing that. But the weekly release schedule is just a little too much for me. So for season two from now on, I will be doing every other week. And the podcast episodes will be released on Thursdays. So I will still be doing the interviews with K-drama watchers. I'll be hearing what they recommend, how they found K-dramas, and then occasionally doing a uh spotlight deep dive type episode on either classic dramas that are really well known, or maybe some that have been overlooked and that I want to highlight or that some of my guests want to highlight. So I want to tell you about those changes. Other important things, uh, let's see, the umbrella for season two is going to be yellow. I thought it would be fun to switch up the color because the colors of umbrellas and K-dramas are interesting and have different meanings and different associations. So red felt like the classic K-drama way to start. And so yellow is our next one for season two. And then the last thing I wanted to tell you about is that I recorded several of these interviews at the end of May before everyone scattered for the summer. So I recorded the episodes and just banked them while I took a couple of weeks off. But I'm ready to start putting them out again now. So some of these currently watching recommendations may seem a little out of step with whatever's on right now, but I figured that's fine because a good drama is a good drama no matter when you find it. So even if it was currently airing in May and it's over now and it's completed, that's okay. If you haven't watched it before, you can go check it out and then you can go binge the whole thing. I have a nice mix of topics and subjects for this season. The first one that's going to also come out the same day as this introduction is an interview with Caitlin from No Sleep for Dramas podcast. And we talked about our favorite crime dramas. So we have both have tons of those. So that is coming up. Thanks for listening, and thanks for joining me for a second season.
